Here is the latest tagteam project by my dad, Terry Stewart, and me! We've been working on this one for about four months now; it has taken some time as we've had to hand off the portrait about four times to complete everything in stages.
First, I drew the face. Then I handed off to Dad so he could draw the landscape details and clothing. Afterward, he passed it back to me to finish the hair that overlapped the background and to add some texture and shading details to the clothing. After I had darkened the clothing, Dad decided to go back and darken some of the landscape features to match.
